Effective, 1 January 2005, the business of The Fury Motor Group was acquired as a going concern by a consortium of Fury Motor Group management and Batsomi Investments (Pty) Ltd, a black empowerment company.  In 2008 RMB aquired a share in the business.

The Group comprises of 12 trading operations, dealing in the sales and maintaining of both new and pre-owned vehicles and the distribution of parts. The Group represents the following brands;

• Volkswagen 

The Groups’ prime area of trading is in the northern suburbs of greater Johannesburg, with a footprint in Pietermaritzburg.

Batsomi Investment Holdings (Pty) Ltd

A Black Empowerment (BEE) company that was formed in 1998 by Jacob R.D. Modise, together with a group of black business individuals with broad diversity of management and business skills

The company was formed to harness the individual networks and capabilities of the founders to build a strong BEE company that could participate in new BEE opportunities that were arising at that time.

Since 2004, the Group has transformed into an operating entity with a focus in the health, power, motor retail, tourism and leisure sectors. In 2005, Batsomi Investment Holdings (Pty) Ltd acquired a 30% shareholding in the Fury Motor Group.

Rand Merchant Bank (RMB) is a diversified financial services brand comprising investment banking, fund management, private wealth management and advisory services. All businesses in the RMB brand stable form part of the wider FirstRand Group. 

 
The Fury Motor Group has launched a new program aimed at adding value to new and existing fleet operators, and creating an opportunity for prospective sales ambassadors (via the referral of customers campaign), to earn extra money. We also have introduced a warranty initiative which offers you a loan vehicle whilst your vehicle is being serviced. These two new programs are grouped under one banner, namely;

• Fury Advantage , where we will, with our customers help to create innovative ideas and ways for the Fury Motor Group to give back to our customers.

  • Route 66, providing warranty with car rental.
  • Fury Fleet Services assists the small, medium or large fleet operator to make those important purchasing, maintaining and disposal decisions that are critical to the efficient and cost effective running of a fleet of vehicles. Our well trained and professional fleet staff is able to assist you in the running of your fleet.
